Later, he committed to play for Auburn University and he was there from 2021 to 2022. At that time, he was named 2022 NABC Freshman of the Year. He was also given the 2022 Wayman Tisdale Award.

Professional Career

He turned pro in 2022 and was selected as the third overall in the first round of the 2022 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets. In 2023, he was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team.
