Enes Freedom is a professional basketball player who last played for the Boston Celtics as the team's center. He was born in Zürich, Switzerland, but their family moved to Turkey in the meantime. His family decided to live permanently in the US as a teenager.

Freedom is a practicing Muslim and still observes Ramadan during the NBA playoffs. He also believes in fasting even when playing basketball. Aside from basketball, he is also an active contributor and philanthropist by holding 16 free basketball camps across the US.

Early Life

When Freedom moved to the US, he decided to attend Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nevada to play basketball. However, the school wasn't able to allow him to play basketball due to his Nike contract. He later attended Mountain State Academy and Stoneridge Preparatory School, but only Stoneridge allowed him to play.

National Team Career

Freedom was able to represent Turkey for the national basketball team. During the 2008 FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship, he averaged 22.9 points with 16.5 rebounds per game. However, he wasn't chosen as the team's MVP at that time.

During the 2009 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship, he scored an average of 18.6 points with 16.4 rebounds. He eventually led the team to earn a bronze medal.

Involvement in Wrestling

One of his main influences as to why he entered wrestling is because of his former girlfriend, who was a WWE wrestler. This decision became an online feud between fans who don't seem to support his decision. In September 2019, he appeared at the WWE Monday Night Raw event.
