High School and College Career
He attended Vaughan Secondary School in Vaughan, Ontario. He would transfer to St. Louis Christian Academy in St. Louis, Missouri then to Hamilton Heights Christian Academy in Chattanooga, Tennessee.Later, he committed to play for Virginia Tech and he was there from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, he was also named to the Third-team All-ACC.
Professional Career
He was drafted to the NBA by Brooklyn Nets during the 2019 NBA Draft. His draft rights were traded to the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks then traded him to the New Orleans Pelicans. He debuted in the NBA for the Pelicans in October 2019. In addition to the Pelicans, he also spent some time with the Erie BayHawks.In February 2022, the Pelicans traded Alexander-Walker to the Portland Trail Blazers. The Trail Blazers then traded him again to the Utah Jazz.
He started playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2023.
