Miles Emmanuel Bridges Sr. was born on March 21, 1998, in Flint, Michigan. His parents are Raymond and Cynthia. His dad played basketball for the Flint Northern High School. When Miles was a preteen, he played and practiced at the local YMCA.Bridges stands 201 cm and his last listed weight was 102 kg. He holds the position of power forward and small forward. He is a left-handed player.
He is a father of two, both with his partner Mychelle Johnson. In addition to basketball, he also raps under the moniker RTB MB.
High School and College Career
He started his high school career at the Flint Southwestern High School. He later transferred to Huntington Prep in West Virginia. By the time he was a senior in high school, he was one of the top recruits in the country.He received several College Offers from schools including the University of Kansas and the University of Kentucky. Bridges decided to commit to Michigan State University.
While in college, he was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year. He was also named to the First-Team All-Big Ten team.
He decided to forgo this remaining two years of college eligibility and he declared for the NBA.
NBA Career
He was drafted into the NBA by the Los Angeles Clippers.Bridges was later traded to the Charlotte Hornets for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. He signed with the team in July of that year. The contract was reportedly for US$10.8 million.
In April 2023, he was suspended from the NBA due to charges of domestic violence. He returned from suspension in November of that year.
