Wagner started his career in 2017, playing in Basketball Bundesliga for Alba Berlin who loaned him to SSV Lokomotiv Bernau.
He then paused his professional career and committed to play college basketball in the USA for the University of Michigan. He was there from 2019 to 2021.
Professional Career
He turned pro in 2021. Wagner was selected in the 1st round of the 2021 NBA Draft, picked 8th overall by the Orlando Magic.
In 2022, he was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team. As of the start of 2024, he still plays for the Magic.
