High School and College Career

He attended Geelong Grammar School in Corio, Victoria. Later, he committed to play college basketball in the United States of America for Saint Mary's College and he was there from 2014 to 2018.

In 2018, he was named the WCC Player of the Year.

Professional Career

In 2018, Landale went undrafted during the 2018 NBA League. Later, he signed with Partizan in Serbia. He played for them from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, he helped lead his team to win the Serbian Cup.

From 2019 to 2020, he played for Zalgiris in Lithuania. Then in 2020, he signed with Melbourne United in the Australian National Basketball League. During that time, he helped the team with the NBL Grand Finals and he was also named the NBL Grand MVP. These wins elevated his status and in 2021, he finally joined the National Basketball Association, signing with the San Antonio Spurs.

In 2021, he also played with the Spurs’ NBA G League affiliate team, the Austin Spurs. In July 2022, he was traded to the Atlanta Hawks as part of the deal that made Dejounte Murray go to the Hawks, and a week later he was traded to the Suns.

In 2022, he signed with the Phoenix Suns, and then in 2023, he signed with the Houston Rockets.
