Damion Lee

Damion Lee is a professional basketball player from the United States of America. He plays in the National Basketball Association for the Phoenix Suns. In 2022, he won the NBA Championship alongside the rest of the Golden State Warriors.

He has also played for the Atlanta Hawks and he has played in the NBA G League for the Maine Red Claws and the Santa Cruz Warriors.

Damion Lee was born on October 21, 1992, in Baltimore, Maryland in the United States of America. He stands 198 cm tall and his weight was last listed at 95 kg. He is a right-handed Shooting Guard.

While in college, he earned a degree in Humanities. His wife, Sydel Curry-Lee is the daughter of Dell Curry and the sister of Stephen Curry and Seth Curry. They have two children together.

High School and College Career

He attended Calvert Hall High School in Towson, Maryland. Later, he transferred to St. Thomas More School in Oakdale, Connecticut.

For college, Lee initially committed to play for Drexel University and was there from 2011 to 2015. He would later transfer to the University of Louisville, playing for them from 2015 to 2016.

In 2012, he was named the CAA Rookie of the Year. Then in 2013 and 2016, he was named to the Second-team All-ACC.

Professional Career

He went undrafted during the 2016 NBA Draft. Later, he signed with the Main Red Claws in the NBA G League. From 2017 to 2018, Lee played for the Santa Cruz Warriors.

In 2018, he signed for a bit with the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA before they waived him and he signed with Santa Cruz again.

He signed with the Golden State Warriors in 2018, and during his stint with them, he won his first NBA Championship, winning with the rest of the Warriors team in 2022.

In 2022, he signed with the Phoenix Suns. He still plays for the Suns as of the start of 2024.
