College Career

Elaine's professional career kicked off when she was selected by the Portland Power in the third round of the 1997 American Basketball League (ABL) Draft. Unfortunately, the league folded shortly after her debut. However, her resilience shone through when she was chosen by the Orlando Miracle in the fourth round of the 1999 WNBA Draft.In a significant trade on July 9, 2002, Elaine moved to the Detroit Shock, where she made a considerable impact on the court. After beginning her tenure as a reserve, she evolved into a key starter for the team. In a twist of fate, she was selected by the Chicago Sky in the WNBA Expansion Draft in 2005 but was waived a year later. Elaine returned to the Shock in July 2006, continuing to showcase her talent and determination.
