Ivory Latta is an American professional basketball player who was born on September 24, 1984 in McConnells, South Carolina. At 5'6, she is mostly famous for her three point shooting and on-court enthusiasm.

Latta attended York Comprehensive High School, where she was coached by Arsonia Stroud.
Ivory attended North Carolina, where she majored in exercise and sports science. She played for the Tarheels under coach Sylvia Hatchell. Ivory was selected by the Detroit Shock in the first-round (11th overall) of the 2007 WNBA Draft.

She is an all-time leading scorer in her high school basketball history with a total of 4,319 career points. ESPN.com named her as the 2006 Player of the Year. As a freshman, she averaged 14.0 points and as a senior she made 16.2 points. At North Carolina, she averaged to 16.6 for her career.
