Shameka Delynn Christon is an American professional women's basketball player who recently played for the Chicago Sky in WNBA. She was born on February 15, 1982 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Shameka attended college at the University of Arkansas, where she acquired her Bachelor's Degree in social work. She played basketball for the Lady Razorbacks and was named the Player Of The Year in the Southeastern Conference during her 2004 senior year.

Indeed, Shameka set a lot of records for the Lady Razorbacks in her senior year: most points in a season, most pints in a game, and most points in a single half to name only a few.

Tamika was selected by the New York Liberty as the fifth overall pick in the 2004 WNBA Draft. Between WNBA seasons, she has played for two Israeli teams (Elizur Ramla in 2005 and Raanana Hertzliya in 2006).
