Golden State Warriors to Get Their Championship Rings on NBA Opening Night in Front of the LA Lakers

The Golden State Warriors will be receiving their championship rings on opening night as they host the Los Angeles Lakers.

The reigning NBA Champions are expected to host the Lakers on October 18. They are coming off their fourth title win in the past eight seasons.

The ring ceremony is traditionally done on opening night and usually in front of a team that is considered another big draw and the Lakers are certainly that. They and the Warriors are two of the biggest teams in the league.

Despite not making the playoff last season, the Lakers continue to have a huge fan base. They also have some of the most popular players in the league with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

The Warriors also have a great lineup despite having lost Otto Porter Jr. and Gary Payton II to free agency. They still have a strong core group.

LeBron and Stephen Curry are also 2 of the most watched in basketball. These two players had one of the best rivalries. Recently, they havent had much interaction but the competitive juices are sure to flow on opening night.

The information about the opening night was released by American sports reporter Shams Charania.

The NBAs full schedule is expected to be released in full this week but information like this has already started leaking. Aside from the opening night and ring ceremony info, it has also been leaked that the Lakers and Dallas Mavericks will have a Christmas Day game in Dallas.
