Chris Mullin, Warriors executive VP of basketball operations, told PBN that “A lot of people would say that if you give up a forward, you need to get a forward in return. But in our system, just about anyone can be a forward.” Just before the beginning of this season, Harrington had publicly stated that he was reluctant to continue playing with Don Nelson, the coach of Warriors. So he was desperate to leave the Warriors and has publicly asked for a trade. jamal crawford

In the roster of the Knicks, the leading scorer was Zach Randolph, who was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers. The second leading scorer was Crawford. He was a fast moving guard who had robust ball-handling skills and a good range. The Warriors can look forward to him as a starting point guard. In the current 2008 season, Crawford began in all of his 11 games and had an average of 35.6 minutes every night. Due to his past performance, Crawford has now joined the list of basketball players that possess an overabundance of proven and developing aptitude. Such players are Stephen Jackson, Corey Maggette, Kelenna Azubuike, Marco Belinelli and Anthony Morrow.
