The Milwaukee forward dominated the game, taking the victory from the Phoenix Suns 120-100 on Sunday night.
Playing at the Bucks home court seems to light a fire in Antetokounmpo and his teammates. Not only did he do his thing, but Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday also gave the assistance he so desperately needed in the opening games.
Middleton made 15 first-half points while Holiday did 4 three-pointers in the third quarter. This pushed the 15-point halftime lead of Milwaukee Bucks to 22. In the end, Middleton added 18 points to his, and Holiday made 21 points more.
But of course, Antetokounmpo was the star of the game with 41 points, 13 rebounds, and 6 assists. Once again, he made an otherworldly performance after recovering from the nasty hyperextension he suffered.
Antetokounmpo joined some of the best players to score 40+ points back-to-back in NBA finals. He came second to Shaquille ONeal, while others who made the same record include Michael Jordan, Jerry West, LeBron James, and Rick Barry.
The Phoenix suns fell behind during Game 3s second quarter. Devin Brooker could not strike and change the momentum, so the team never recovered for the rest of the game. The Bucks shredded the Suns lineup, taking Game 3 of the finals.
