Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic against the West and Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal from the East were named NBA Players of the Week.
To track Doncic’s performance for Week 18, he had an average of 26.0 points, 10.0 assists, and 9.0 rebounds, as the Mavericks went 3-0 against the Nuggets. Doncic’s best performances include from April 21 to 22, where he managed to get a 30-point average per game, and on April 24, he scored 18 points under his belt.
Meanwhile, Beal has an average of 31.3 points, 3.0 assists, and 5.8 rebounds per game, when the Wizards won over the Cavaliers From his April 19 performance, he garnered a total of 30 points and on April 21, he scored 29 points. Both April 23 and 25 have 33 points with 6 rebounds and 3 assists in each game.
Doncic is the only Mavericks player who has garnered at least three awards in his career, and he will be joining Dirk Nowitzki, Michael Finley, and Jason Kidd. As for the East Conference, Beal is the only player who scored more than 29 points in four games. Since Beal managed to finish the week with 33 points, it helped the Mavericks to get their eight-straight victory and their longest winning streak since 2001.
