Colombia national baseball team

Colombia national baseball team is controlled by the Federación Colombiana de Béisbol and a member of the COPABE. It is ranked 24th in the new IBAF world baseball rankings.

Colombia has been active in the international baseball scene since 1944 though tournaments like the Baseball World Cup, Pan American Games and the Intercontinental Cup.

Colombia’s best finish in either of the tournaments was 3rd in the Pan American Games in 1971.

Baseball World Cup

To date, Colombia has won 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals in the Baseball World Cup. Their worst finish only came in 2005 when they finished 16th in the tournament.
