Marco Chiudinelli is a Swiss tennis player who turned pro in 2000 and played for the Swiss Davis Cup Team from 2005 to 2007 as well as in 2009. Born on September 10, 1981 in Basel, Switzerland, Chiudinelli grew up in Münchenstein. He currently lives in Basel County, Switzerland.

Chiudinelli exhibited some of his best performances in 2009, where he won four matches and lost four while playing with the Davis Cup team. Other noteworthy matches include the Grand Slams at the 2006 US Open and the 2009 US Open where he reached the third round as a qualifier. He fell to Richard Gasquet in the third round after defeating Feliciano Lopez in the second round. In 2009 he defeated Potito Starace and Mikhail Youzhny before bowing to Nikolay Davydenko. The Swiss player also reached the first round at the 2007 Grand Slams.

Chiudinelli also entered the PTT Thailand Open as a qualifier in the same year, going past German tennis player Florian Mayer and then beating former World Number on Marat SAfin before bowing out to Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

Chiuidinelli returned to his hometown of Basel and defeated 8 seed Philipp Kohlschreiber, moving on to beat Michael Lamme and then Richard Gasquet before falling to fellow Swiss player and World Number one Roger Federer.

He exhibited his best singles performance in 2007 but reached his highest ranking in doubles 2009 by placing at the 118th spot. His career record in singles is at 24–32 and his highest ranking in singles came in November 2009 when he placed 54th.
