Lovro Zovko is a Croatian professional tennis player who was born on March 18, 1981 in Zagreb, SR Croatia, Yugoslavia. He turned professional at the age of 18 in 1999. Zovko is famous for playing doubles with partner Ivan Ljubičić in their participation of the 2000 and 2001 Umag Tournament. He currently has a ranking of No. 68 under the doubles category but his highest rank was at No. 45 in 2008.
Zovko together with Ljubičić competed in the Umag Tournament in 2000 and defeated Mariano Puerta and Marcelo Rios in the semifinals. But they lost the title in the finals by Alex Lopez Moron and Albert Portas. In 2001, they joined the same tournament and got into the finals by defeating Petr Luxa and Radek Stepanek. But again, they were beaten by Sergio Roitman and Andres Schneiter in the finals.
In 2002, Zovko together with Aleksander Kitinov competed in the U.S. Open but were defeated in their first match. In that same year, he and partner Alexander Waske participated in the Wimbledon doubles category but did not make it through to the finals. In 2003, he competed in the same category in the Wimbledon with Marco Chiudinelli but was defeated.
In 2007, Zovko and partner Marin Chilic competed in the Umag tournament and defeated Jose Acasuso and Maximo Gonzalez from Argentina. In the finals, the duo was defeated by Lukas Dlouhy and Michal Mertinak. By 2008, he partnered with David Skoch and competed in the same competition and defeated Gianluca Naso and Francesco Piccari of Italy, but lost the finals to Michal mertinak and Petr Pala.
