Andreas Beck is a German professional tennis player born on February 5, 1986 in Weingarten, Germany.
In June 2008, he competed in the Wimbledon tournament held in Great Britain defeating Paolo Lornzi from Italy, Brendan Evans from the United States, Jaroslav Pospisil from Czech Republic but lost to worlds no. 2 Rafael Nadal. By August, he defeated Benedikt Dorsch from Germany, Harel Levy from Israel, Thierry Ascione from France but lost to world’s no. 4 David Ferrer in the U.S. Open held in New York City.

By 2009, he competed in the Australian Open in January. He defeated Brendan Mckenzie from Australia, Kyu Tae Im from Korea, Lukasz Kubot from Poland but lost to #32 Jurgen Melzer from Austria. By March this year, he competed in Monaco at the ATP World Tour Masters in Monte Carlo. In this tournament, he defeated #30 Nicolas Kiefer, a fellow German, #60 Juan Monaco from Argentina and #7 Gilles Simon from France. Beck is current the World’s No. 60.
