James Outram Anderson or better yet known by just James Anderson, was a famous Australian tennis player. He was born on September 17, of the year 1894 in Enfield, New South Wales. He was the eight among the children of Mr. James Outram Anderson and his wife Patience. His parents made it certain that James and his sibling would be able to get the best education, but handling eight in the family was not an easy job. Luckily, James’ parents were able to handle the pressure and were able to send him and have James’ education in the Camden Grammar School.
There was not much to talk and nothing much that people could hear about James Anderson, till the time he won his first Australian Championship. But still winning one championship was not enough for him, so he went for the gold and won himself three victories still during the Australian Championship in the year 1992. His career then started to flourish and another title was on the line. Thankfully, he won the Wimbledon Championships in London still on the same year.
As much as he was busy with his career and his success, he was still able to live the life which he has always dreamed of. He finally settled down and married Maud Irene Whitfield on March 24, 1917. They were blessed with five wonderful and healthy children. But then a tragic death came to his family when his wife died on the year 1955. He then continued with life and married a widow, Mabel Little on November 18 of the year 1957 which was two years after his wife died. Anderson then rested in peace and died at the age of 79.
