Dinny Pails, is an Australian was born at Great Britain on March 4, 1921.Dinny Pails was an Australian tennis Champion. Before becoming a champion Dinny Pails had his share of ups and down in the world of tennis. At the age of 26 he won the men’s singles championship held in Australia and that is the Australian Open Tennis Tournament. He defeated Jon Bromwich with a score: 4-6, 6-4, 3-6, 7-5, and 8-6 in the final in five sets.
Dinny Pails have played Eight (8) matches at the David’s Cup. He played those matches starting in 1946 and 1947. In those eight matches he won only three matches and loses in the other five matches. The Davis cup in 1947 was the 36th edition of the most important tournament among national teams in men’s tennis. There were twenty two (22) teams who entered the competition in which twenty (20) of those teams belongs to the Europe Zone and two from the American Zone. Canada was defeated by Australia in the American Zone.
He played in the professional division and played on the pro tour for many years. But Dinny Pails played on and off between those years. Jake Kramer, a tennis long time promoter said that Dinny Pails was able to beat Pancho Seguera 41-31 matches in the 1948 tour. Jake Kramer beat Dinny Pails fifty five (55) times with 1 draw. Sometime in a954 tennis pro beats Dinny Pails 47 matches to 7.
