Ken McGregor
Ken McGregor was an Australian tennis player who won the Men's Singles title at the Australian Championships in 1952. He and Frank Sedgman are widely regarded as one of the greatest men's doubles teams of all time, having achieved the rare doubles Grand Slam in 1951.
He was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1999.

Kenneth Bruce McGregor was born on June 2, 1929, in Adelaide, Australia.He stood 188 cm (6 ft 2 in) tall and played right-handed with a one-handed backhand. He represented Australia in multiple international competitions. In 1953, he and his primary doubles partner, Frank Sedgman, transitioned to professional status at the invitation of promoter Jack Kramer.
He passed away in his hometown of Adelaide in 2007.
Professional Career
McGregor began his amateur career in 1948 before turning professional in 1952.His singles career reached its peak in 1952 when he won the Australian Championships. Throughout his playing years, he reached the final of Wimbledon in 1951 and was a semifinalist at the French Championships in both 1951 and 1952.
He was ranked as high as World No. 3 in 1952. In doubles, he secured a calendar Grand Slam in 1951 with Frank Sedgman and was a member of three consecutive Australian Davis Cup winning teams from 1950 to 1952.
