Robert “Bob” Charles Bryan is a professional tennis player from America. He was born on April 29, 1978 in Camarillo, California and has a twin brother named Mike. He started making waves in the world of tennis when he was still studying at Stanford University back in 1997 and 1998. During those years, he managed to help the Stanford Cardinals win NCAA championships in successions.

His efforts in college did not go unnoticed as he soon won the “Triple Crown” in 1998 by winning the NCAA singles, team titles, and doubles titles with his twin brother. In the World Team Tennis, Bryan and his brother, Mike, represented the Idaho Sneakers, and now they play for the St. Louis Aces.

Bryan’s successful performance as an amateur prompted him to turn professional, and he did so in 1998. Together with his twin, Bryan has made a huge impression in the ATP Tour. In fact they have won 73 titles in doubles since Bryan turned professional. To date, they are known as a force to be reckoned with on the tennis court.

Over the course of Bryan’s career, he has achieved a career record of 21-40 in singles. However, he has not yet won a single career title as a singles player. His highest rank as a singles player has been on No. 116 in the World. However, in the world of tennis doubles, there is no denying their presence. The brothers have a running record of 699-228 with 73 career titles. Eleven of these titles are Grand Slam tournament titles, plus three wins at the Tour Finals. In mixed doubles, Bryan has 7 Grand Slam titles as well. The Bryan brothers have also represented the United States in the 1999 and 2008 Olympics, garnering a bronze medal on both appearances.
