Philipp Petzschner
Philipp Petzschner is a German former professional tennis player who achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 35 and a doubles ranking of World No. 9.
He won two major doubles titles, capturing the Wimbledon men's doubles championship in 2010 and the US Open men's doubles championship in 2011.

Petzschner was born on March 24, 1984, in Bayreuth, Germany. He stands 185 cm tall and he plays right-handed with a two-handed backhand. He currently resides in Pulheim.Nicknamed "Petzsche," he started playing tennis at age four. He is known for his unusual speed on court and for his strong serve and forehand. He married his wife, Dewi, and they have a son, Aziz, and a daughter, Natami Aminah. Petzschner was coached by Klaus Langenbach and Stefan Eriksson during his career.
Professional Career
Petzschner turned professional in 2001. He achieved his career-high singles ranking of World No. 35 in September 2009. His best singles result was a championship title at the Bank Austria-TennisTrophy in Vienna in October 2008.Petzschner's greatest successes came in doubles, where he won eight titles and reached a career-high doubles ranking of World No. 9 in April 2011. He was a two-time major doubles champion, winning the Wimbledon men's doubles championship in 2010 and the US Open men's doubles championship in 2011. He was a member of the German Davis Cup team that reached the semifinals in 2007.
He temporarily took a break from the sport after a shoulder injury in April 2007 but came back to compete again in July of that same year. He retired from professional tennis in 2018.
