He started his career playing in the ITF and ATP Challenger Tours, reaching his first final in August 2017 where at the Slovakia F2 but he lost to Gregoire Jacq. Since then, he has won 6 ITF Futures events and 2 ATP Challenger titles.

Klein represented Slovakia at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics where he made it to the first round of the men’s singles event and the second round of the men’s doubles. He made his Grand Slam singles main draw debut in 2022 when he was in the first round of Wimbledon.
