She grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and started playing tennis when she was just five years old. She then went on to play collegiate tennis for the University of California Los Angeles.

Career

Dolehide turned pro in 2017. She started her career playing in the ITF Circuit. In 2016 and 2017, she was a qualifier at the US Open but did not make it past the first Qualifying Round.

In 2018, she made it to the second qualifying round of the Australian Open. Then she made it to the second round of the French Open and the first rounds of Wimbledon and the US Open. That same year, she reached the third round of Indian Wells, her first WTA 1000 third-round event.

Dolehide has had relatively more success as a doubles player. She has made it to the quarterfinals of the Aussie Open thrice (2020, 2022, and 2023) and she was in the semifinals of the Wimbledon 2021 and the semifinals of the US Open (2019 and 2022).

As a doubles player, she has also made it to the second round of the Cincinnati Open. She also has one WTA title as a doubles player – the Chicago Fall Classic. She won it while paired with Coco Vandeweghe.
