Edina Gallovits-Hall is a Romanian-born American former tennis player who reached a career-high singles ranking of World No. 54 and a doubles ranking of World No. 63. She won three WTA doubles titles and 19 singles titles on the ITF Circuit.

Klaudia Edina Gallovits-Hall was born on December 10, 1984, in Timișoara, Romania. She stands 165 cm tall and she plays right-handed with a two-handed backhand. She married American Andrew Hall in November 2010. After representing Romania for most of her career, she began playing for the United States in 2015.

Gallovits-Hall comes from a family with a strong athletic background. Her father competed in the Modern Pentathlon at the 1980 Olympics for Romania, and her mother was a world-class goalie for the Romanian handball team. Her sister also played tennis at Florida State University.

Professional Career

Gallovits-Hall turned professional in 1999. She achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 54 in April 2008. She won 19 singles titles on the ITF Circuit, and in Grand Slam singles, she reached the second round of the Australian Open in 2008 and 2009, the French Open in 2007 and 2011, Wimbledon in 2008 and 2010, and the US Open in 2012.

In doubles, she was more successful, winning three WTA titles and nine ITF titles. She achieved a career-high doubles ranking of World No. 63 in April 2009. Her best Grand Slam doubles result was reaching the third round of the French Open in 2012. Gallovits-Hall retired from professional tennis in 2017.
