He would again make it to the quarter-finals of the Aussie Open in 2017. Also in 2014, he made it to the first round of Wimbledon. This happened again in 2018.

In 2016, he went on a 9-month hiatus and he returned in 2017. During the Australian Open this year, he made it to round 1.
