Anastasia Gasanova is a professional tennis player, who earned a career-high ranking at WTA World Number 121 as of January 2022. She debuted at the 2021 Abu Dhabi Open and beat Ena Shibahara in the last qualifying round. Her breakthrough performance came after she was able to defeat former World Number 1 in straight sets during the second round.

Gasanova was born and raised in Saratov, Russia, where she learned to play tennis. She is also the daughter of a tennis coach named Svetlana Gasanova, who taught her to play tennis at the young age of 3. Apart from her mother, she was also trained by a former WTA tennis player named Elena Bryukhovets.

Professional Career
In March 2021, Gasanova joined the St. Petersburg Trophy and successfully made it through the WTA Tour. Her first match was against Katarina Zavatsa, while she battled against Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the second round. She had only reached the quarterfinals when she lost to Vera Zvonareva.
In October 2021, she went against Jil Teichmann and won the match for the WTA Transylvania Open.
