Thomas Enqvist

Career
He turned pro in 1991 and a year later, he won his first ATP Title, in Bolzano. His most significant Grand Slam finish came in 1999 when he made it to the finals of the Australian Open. He faced off against Russian tennis player Yevgeny Kafelnikov. A few years later in 2001, he made it to the quarter-finals of Wimbledon.In addition to the Grand Slam events, he also had semi-finals finishes at the 1995 ATP Tour Finals and the 1999 Grand Slam Cup Finals. In November 1999, he gained his highest career ranking of World No.4.
Some of his most impressive wins were against Andy Roddick, Pete Sampras, and Juan Carlos Ferrero.
