Leonie Kung

Leonie Küng is a Swiss professional tennis player, who once played at the Junior Wimbledon Championships in 2018. She also achieved a career-high WTA ranking at World Number 144 as of September 2020. As of now, she had won 1 double WTA Challenger title and 5 ITF titles singles.

Personal Life

Kung is born and raised in Beringen, Switzerland. Like many other players, she also took interest in tennis at a young age. She made her professional debut at the ITF events in Greece and she won her first-ever $15,000 event both in singles and doubles. At the age of 17, she is already a reigning champion of the Swiss National Singles. She also partnered with Ylena In-Albon in the Swiss National Doubles where they have won the title.

Kung entered the main draw at the 2017 Ladies Open Biel Bienne, where she is partnered with In-Albon.
