Professional Career

Craybas turned professional in 1996. Her career was a testament to her longevity and persistence, as she competed in 45 consecutive Grand Slam tournament main draws from the 2000 US Open to the 2011 US Open. By the time she retired in 2013, she was one of the oldest and longest-serving players on the WTA Tour.

Craybas won one singles title and five doubles titles on the WTA Tour. Her career-high singles ranking was World No. 39 in April 2006. Her best singles result at a major tournament was reaching the fourth round of the Wimbledon Championships in 2005, which included victories over Marion Bartoli and Serena Williams. She also reached the third round of the Australian Open in 2004. In doubles, she achieved a career-high ranking of World No. 41 in June 2008.

Craybas also represented the United States at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and was a member of the US Billie Jean King Cup (formerly Fed Cup) team. She retired from professional tennis in 2013.
