Horia Tecau
Horia Tecau is a Romanian former professional tennis player who specialized in doubles.
He is a three-time Grand Slam champion, winning two men's doubles titles and one mixed doubles title. He achieved a career-high doubles ranking of World No. 2 and also won a silver medal at the 2016 Olympic Games.

Horia Tecau was born on January 19, 1985, in Constanța, Romania. He stands 1.93 m (6 ft 4 in) tall and plays right-handed with a two-handed backhand.Tecau was chosen by Sony Pictures to dub Charles Darwin's voice in the Romanian version of the animated movie The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists!.
Professional Career
He turned professional in 2003. He won 38 doubles and one mixed doubles title on the ATP Tour.His greatest successes were in men's doubles, where he won the 2015 Wimbledon Championships and the 2017 US Open with his partner Jean-Julien Rojer.
He also won the 2015 ATP Finals with Rojer and earned a silver medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro with Florin Mergea. In mixed doubles, he won the 2012 Australian Open with Bethanie Mattek-Sands.
Tecau retired from professional tennis in 2022.
