Evgeniya Rodina is a female Russian professional tennis player born on February 4, 1989 in Moscow. Her coach, Denis Shteyngart, is also her husband and they have a child. Rodina plays right-handed with a two-handed backhand.

She started playing professionally in 2004 in the ITF division. Rodina secured a doubles ITF title and reached the quarterfinals at her first main draw event at Tashkent in 2006. In 2007, she qualified for a WTA Tour event for the first time.

On July 7, 2008, Rodina debuted on the top 100 world rankings. While she won singles titles in the following years, it was only in 2011 when she achieved a first top 100 season and finished with a number 93 world ranking. She was unable to play regularly from 2012 to 2013.

She made a comeback in 2014 and won 5 ITF singles titles. Rodina reached the semifinals at Tashkent as well as the quarterfinals at Baku and Pattaya, bringing her to a world ranking of 102. She had her third top 100 season in 2018 when she finished at a rank of 83 and her fourth season in 2018 when she finished at rank 88.

Since turning pro, Rodina has a career record of 483 victories and 323 losses. She also won 1 WTA 125K and 13 ITF career titles in singles. In doubles, she has a career record of 155 victories and 138 losses. The highest rank she achieved was at No. 67, which she attained on May 2019. Currently, she is ranked at No. 76 as of January 2019. Rodina still has to win a Grand Slam tournament but has already made appearances at the four Grand Slam events.
