Jordan is listed by Forbes as one of the richest celebrities with an estimated net worth of US$2 billion. Back in 2014, Jordan became the first athlete to break into the billionaire rankings.
The basketball legend made the most of his money off-court though as in addition to being great at basketball, he is also a very savvy businessman. One of his biggest scores was purchasing the Charlotte Hornets.
But if it’s personal fortune we’re talking about, Jordan’s wealth doesn’t even come close to that of Pegula’s.
Forbes’ chart does not include Pegula as it is mostly tied to her family’s wealth.
Throughout her career, Pegula has earned around US$7.2 Million. But that’s only a very small portion of what she will likely inherit.
She is the daughter of Terry Pegula, who is valued at US$6.8 billion and she is expected to inherit a considerable amount of that.
Terry is a self-made businessman who owns NFL’s Buffalo Bills and the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres.
Pegula also has her business ventures, starting a skincare line called Ready 24. Together with her sister Kelly, she also launched Health Scratch, a food and food truck business based in Buffalo, although it has since closed down.
