Emma Raducanu has dropped another coach and has parted ways with Russian Dmitry Tursunov.

He is the fourth coach to leave Raducanus team since she won the 2021 US Open. She has gone through Nigel Sears, Andrew Richardson, and Torben Beltz.

There was a great deal of controversy when the Brit took on Tursunov since he is Russian and the All England Club has made it very clear where they stand with the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

But since she started working with Tursunov, she has won 8 of her last 15 matches. She even reached the semifinals in Seoul last month.

Reports say that Raducanu had wanted to continue working with the Russian but it was Tursunov who wanted to leave.

Last week, it was announced that Raducanu was ending her season early because of a wrist injury but that she was still hopeful to be able to play at the Billie Jean King Cup.

Raducanu was earlier named as the captain of the Great Britain team at the Cup.

The British No.1 and her team will now be focused on being less prone to injury and she will be working closely with physical trainer Jez Green.

Green also worked with Andy Murray. During their time together, Murray won two grand slams and an Olympic gold medal. Green had also worked with Karolina Pliskova, Alex Zverev, and Tomas Berdych.

He is expected to start working with Raducanu in the coming weeks.
