Cameron Norrie Wins in Delray Beach Open Beating Reilly Opelka

Cameron Norrie snatches his third ATP Title at the Delray Beach Open as he beats Reilly Opelka in the finals 7-6 (7-1) 7-6 (7-4).

The British No.1 is the first left-handed player to win the tournament since 2004. He also had a great 2021 run, winning at Los Cabos and Indian Wells.

Norrie has risen from No.74 to the present No.13. Speaking after the match that lasted 1 hour and 51 minutes, he said, “I really enjoyed my time on court in Delray this week..

Speaking to his opponent, he said, “You’re moving great. You’re playing great. I’m sure you’re going to break into the top 10 real soon.” Opelka is currently at the No.18 spot.

Opelka has three career titles. He has been playing professionally since 2015 and is coached by Jay Berger.
