Tennis can be an aggressive sport, and players can get extreme negative reactions when triggered.

Even when he was disqualified to play, still he owned his mistakes and claimed that it was his fault. Sandgren was leading after he was breaking Christopher Eubanks. He lost control of his temper after the ball boy had unintendedly struck him in the groin area by the time he was preparing to serve. Unfortunately, his anger results in hitting the line judge accidentally.

Tennys Sandgren is currently the top seed at an ATP event in Cary, as he is currently the World Number 103 and has a career-high ranking of 41. He was able to challenge Roger Federer before at the Australian Open.

After the disqualification, he took off to his social media account with a laughing emoticon, “How’s your evening going?” and admitted that it’s totally his fault. He also explained that he got hit in his private area, which caused him to react negatively. Even so, he cited the lighter side of the incident and just accepted the decision of the line judge.

This incident is quite similar to when the current World Number One Novak Djokovic got disqualified from the US Open last year. Last week, Djokovic also had a close encounter when he almost hit an official on his road to the final. Fortunately, the official went untouched by the ball.
