World No. 1 Novak Djokovic moves forward to the fourth round at Wimbledon after defeating Denis Kudla in straight sets. With his

With his wolf energy, he managed to overcome the spirited American qualifier 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 (9-7). With this win, Djokovic is now closer than ever to retain his Wimbledon title.

The Serbian champion won the game in straight sets and will play against Cristian GarinNova in the fourth round. Djokovic won his match with Kudla, but the latter isnt a weak opponent. Kudla is known as a strong grass-court player who had a 4-1 lead in the third-set tie-break but lost his advantage, unfortunately.

Djokovic credited his win for this round in his fighting, animalistic instinct that he said is due to genes. His family grew up in the 90s in Serbia, which was of difficult times. For him and his family, failure is not an option. During those times, they had to find ways to survive and spent much time in the mountains. Its this that made him so resilient. However, Djokovic doesnt dismiss Denis and commends him playing well. It was a very close third set, according to World No. 1. He also says that he finds Kudla to be a great guy, on and off-court, and get along well.

Kudla played great sets with Djokovic but was unlucky during the third-set tie-break. Its just that Djokovic found a way to win, possibly his strong desire for a 20th major. Novak Djokovic is now the first man to ever win 75 matches, at least, in all four Grand Slams.
