Sixth seed Roger Federer dominated his match against Richard Gasquet, moving up to the third round to meet Cameron Norrie. The 39-year-o

The 39-year-old won against 35-year-old French Richard Gasquet with a 7-6 (7-1), 6-1, 6-4 victory, extending his record to 19-2.

Meanwhile, Norrie made the last 32 by winning against Australian Alex Bolt 6-3, 6-1, 6-2. It will be the first time he reaches Wimbledons last 32, which certainly excites fans. Federer himself is excited to be facing Norrie, hoping that the crowd will get into it on the day of their match.

Federer also shared his thoughts about Cameron, who he said is a good guy. This year was wonderful for Norrie, especially with his matches at Queens. But then Federer goodheartedly quipped that nows the time for him to go out as he needs to get through.

Norrie is truthfully one of this years best players on the ATP. He has demonstrated excellent form and outstanding ability, particularly in his match earlier on Thursday. He did so well in front of Court Ones home crowd, and the crowd appeared quite impressed by his performance.

Before his upcoming match with 20-time Grand Slam champion Federer, Norrie lost three games in his match with Bolt. But he made a comeback that turned the contest around, winning 11 times in a row. He ever earned a standing ovation when he broke twice again in the final set but still clinched the victory.

Norrie jokingly said he wanted to play Gasquet, but he didnt get his wish. He will be playing Federer on Saturday, an expected tough contest as he will be playing one of the worlds best. Federer also had some challenges along the way, but he said hes happy with his current level.
