The Spaniard has proudly finished off the most important battle in her life: cancer.

The Spaniard has proudly finished off the most important battle in her life: cancer. Now, she’s coming back in the court and is grateful to be playing once again. Carla Suarez Navarro was noted in 2008, where she was hailed as the No. 132 at the WTA Tour for the first time.

For more than 10 years, she decided to leave the court and her passion to play tennis despite her outstanding performance because she was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma. The first time she heard about it, the process of exiting professional tennis is the only solution to save her life.

It’s an understatement that she nervous during her first chemotherapy session in 2020 amid the Covid-19 pandemic, however, she was confident that she can make it through and win against her invisible opponent. Her extensive training before made her stronger and reinforced a cheerful disposition throughout the process.

The former World No. 6 has happily announced that she is now cancer-free and she is grateful for it. In an interview with Tennis.com, she shared that she had won the most important match of her life, and it’s a gift for her to step into the Roland Garros court and play again. Carla Suarez Navarro’s eyes gleamed when she’s about to make a comeback for the French Open tournament.

Now that she’s back on the court, everyone is excited to see a survivor, who despite life’s adversities thrown against her, had bounced back stronger than cancer.
