History
Accrington Stanley FC were established in 1968 and gradually climbed up through the non-League strata to reach the Football League.
Accrington Stanley play their home matches at Crown Ground that can accommodate 5,057 spectators. They bear the nicknames ‘Stanley’, ‘The ‘Owd Reds’ and ‘Accy’.
