History
Cambridge United FC were established in 1912 and were once one of the more successful clubs of lower level English football. They reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup twice in their history and the last eight stage of the Football League Cup once.
Cambridge United FC play their home matches at the Abbey Stadium that can accommodate 8,127 spectators. They bear the nicknames “United” and “The U’s”.
