Club Deportivo Alaves is a football team from the Spanish Basque Country that plays in the Segunda Division.
History
The team was relegated from La Liga after the 2005-06 season but have had ten seasons in the Spanish top flight and reached the UEFA Cup final in 2001.
Alaves were promoted back to La Liga in 2022-23 after winning the playoffs in the Segunda Division.

The club slipped to Spain’s third tier in 2009-10 but climbed the divisions within three seasons back to La Liga in 2016-17 where they contended for six seasons until relegation in 2021-22.
