Al Hilal is a Saudi Arabian football club based in Riyadh who plays in the Saudi Pro League.
History
Al Hilal was founded in 1957 as a multi-sports professional club. It has won the Pro League a record 18 times and finishing as runners-up 15 times.
On the continent, Al Hilal has won the AFC Champions League a record four times (1991, 2000, 2019, 2021) and been runners-up five times. They have also won the Asian Cup Winners’ Cup twice in 1997 and 2002.
Al Hilal made the final of the 2022 FIFA Club World Cup but lost 5-3 to Real Madrid.
