History

They’ve become a steady top four club in recent years, regularly competing in the UEFA Champions League with Timo Werner their star striker before his transfer to Chelsea in 2020.

Despite the investment from Red Bull GmbH, the club have yet to win any major trophies, finishing as runners-up int he 2018-19 DFB Pokal under Ralf Rangnick, before current trainer Julian Nagelsmann took over in mid-2019.
