First Vienna FC 1894 aka First Vienna FC is a professional Austrian association football club which has its base in Dobling, Vienna. This club got established on 22nd August 1894 and is considered as the oldest team in the country. The team has played a vital role in the history of the game and is familiarly known to Austrians as Vienna.
Fully known as Fernwarme First Vienna Football Club 1894, the home ground of the team is Hohe Warte Stadium which can seat 5,000 spectators. This stadium was built in 1921. The manager of the team is Alfred Tatar.

The first match of this team was played on 15th November 1894 against the Vienna Cricket and Football-Club, which they lost by 0:4. Vienna city instantly became the center of Austrian football and by the end of 1896 there were seven clubs playing, most of which fielded reserve sides.
Major Highlights
The team was the Austrian champion six times, mainly in 1931, 1933, 1942, 1943, 1944 and in 1955. They were the Austrian Cup winners thrice, in 1929, 1930 and in 1937. Other than that, the team was the Challenge Cup winner as well, twice, in 1899 and in 1900.
In 1943, the team won the German Cup prior to which they won the Mitropa Cup in 1931. Moreover, in 1946, they won the Liberation Cup.
