Estoril is also known as G. D. Estoril Praia or as Grupo Desportivo Estoril Praia. This is a Portuguese sports club having its base in Estoril, Cascais. Nicknamed as Canarinhos (Little Canaries), this team was founded on 17th May 1939. Its home ground is Estádio António Coimbra da Mota in Estoril, which has a seating capacity of 5,000 spectators.
The Chairman of this team is named as Miguel Pisco and the team coach is Vinícius Eutrópio. The badge of the team along with the kit colors were inspired by the beaches of Estoril, and were considered as the best in entire Portugal. The yellow color symbolizes the sun color, while the blue color symbolizes the neighboring Atlantic Ocean color.
