Bloemfontein Celtic is a South African football club based in Bloemfontein. They currently feature in the Premier Soccer League.

Bloemfontein Celtic were established in 1969 as Mangaung United Football Club. In 1984 businessman Petros Molemela tookover the club and rechristened it to Bloemfontein Celtic (after Celtic FC).

In November 2001 former Celtic player Demetri “Jimmy” Augousti bought the shares of the club from Molemela and regained their South African top flight status at the end of the 2003-2004 season when they won the First Division championship.

In 2009 Bloemfontein forged a partnership with Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon which includes the creation of a young academy in the capital of the Free State.

Bloemfontein Celtic play their home matches at the Vodacom Park in Bloemfontein and at the Seisa Ramabodu Stadium in Botshabelo.

Bloemfontein won the SAA Supa 8 in 2005 and the Telkom Charity Cup in 2007. They are now one of the richest clubs in South Africa and have a huge fanbase in Free State.
