Ergotelis FC is a Greek football club based in Heraklion. They currently feature in the Super League Greece.

Ergotelis FC were established on July 7,1929 as an amateur club of Cretan footballers and played in the second division in the national league. Even after Greek football was merged between amateur and professional clubs, they remained in the amateur league for six years. It was then that they became professional.

Ergotelis have played mostly in the lower division of Greek football in their professional era and gained promotion to the second division in 2003 after 32 years. They were promoted to the Super League Greece after the 2004 season but suffered relegation. But Ergotelis were soon back in the Grecian top flight.

Ergotelis FC play their home matches at the Pankritiko Stadium that can accommodate 26,240 spectators. They bear the nickname “Canaries” and bear a huge rivalry with OFI Crete.
