Panthrakikos FC

Panthrakikos FC is a Greek football club based in Komotini. They currently feature in the Super League Greece, the top division of domestic Grecian football.

Panthrakikos FC were established in 1963 in Thrace. They featured in the second tier of Grecian football in the 1970s and early 1980s and suffered relegation to the fourth division in Greece in the 1990s. Between 1999 and 2003 they featured in the regional leagues.

But thanks to the investment from some local businessmen, Panthrakikos revived and managed to gain promotion to the second division at the end of the 2005-2006 season. In 2008 they eventually managed to climb up the ladder to the Super League Greece.
